About Me

Designing products grounded in people, context, and purpose.

I’m a product designer with a background in multimedia design and documentary filmmaking, based in Athens, Alabama. Born and raised in El Salvador (Central America), I bring a global perspective focused on understanding people and the systems they navigate.

Professional Background

My early work in multimedia design and documentary film trained me to observe closely, ask the right questions, and communicate complex ideas with clarity. That foundation naturally evolved into product design, where I now focus on translating user needs and business goals into scalable, intuitive solutions.

Design Perspective

I believe strong design outcomes come from a deep understanding of people. Design doesn’t exist in isolation—it is embedded in society, culture, and experiences. My approach emphasizes research, context, and collaboration to ensure solutions are both usable and meaningful.

User Experience

User experience is a critical part of how society functions. It shapes how we move through public spaces, access services, and make everyday decisions. While much of my work is digital, UX is not limited to screens—it is about designing interactions that reduce friction and increase clarity wherever people engage with systems.

Global Mindset

Having lived and worked across cultures, and being fluent in English and Spanish, I bring an inclusive and adaptable mindset to my work. Travel, exploration, and a sense of curiosity continue to inform how I design, helping me consider diverse user needs and avoid one-size-fits-all solutions.

Work Philosophy

I approach design as both a craft and a problem-solving discipline. I apply design thinking not only in product work, but in how I organize systems, communicate ideas, and collaborate with teams. I’m motivated by solving meaningful problems and delivering thoughtful solutions that balance user needs, business constraints, and long-term impact.
